Sno Jam Comedy Festival Presents Sno Laughing Matter Comedy Showcase at Remedy at 611, a stand-up comedy showcase featuring 10 comedians from across the country.

Luke Johnson (Sioux Falls, SD):

Bree Kalhorn (Omaha, NE): Bree Kalhorn got her start in standup by chance, after being dragged to an open mic in 2021. Her fresh take on comedy is candid and provocative. Beloved by hipsters and hippies, Bree was voted onto the "Best of Fest," showcase of The Laugh out Loveland Comedy Festival. She has also featured on the Funlap Comedy Festival and Des Comedie Festival. Locally, Bree is known for her sharp tongue, being dubbed the multi-time roast battle champion of Omaha. She was interviewed about this achievement on the KPAO Public Television Show, "Food and Laughter."

Dale Dymkoski (Los Angeles, CA): Dale Dymkoski claims to be the world’s deafest, fittest stroke survivor. Based in LA, Dale has appeared on the main stages at legendary clubs the Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, Improv, and Ice House. Comedy festivals include North Carolina, Burbank, Sno Jam, Antelope Valley, and the World Series of Comedy. He has opened and featured for Jeremy Piven, among others. TV credits include LAW & ORDER: SVU and SCANDAL.

Eric Hook (Bloomington, IN): Eric Hook is a comedian based in Bloomington, Indiana. He is a regular performer at The Comedy Attic in Bloomington and Helium Comedy Club in Indianapolis. Eric was lucky enough to participate in the Laughayette and Limestone Comedy Festivals in 2023. He has shared the stage with such acts as Shane Torres, Jordan Jensen, Laurie Kilmartin, and Pete Holmes.

Sofia Javed (Chicago, IL): Sofia Javed is a Chicago-based comedian whose material is inspired by her life as a brown woman in America and her former career as a cubicle bureaucrat. She enjoys steak. Check her out at www.sofiajaved.com.

Wes Corwin (Dallas, TX / Norman, OK): Wes Corwin is a ball of pure nervous energy trying to pass itself off as a human. Wes has had his unique brand of humor featured on Cracked.com and Funny or Die. As a stand-up, he’s opened for nationally touring headliners like  Brian Regan, Aparna Nancherla, Godfrey, Keith Alberstadt, and Kurt Braunohler. He’s been featured at the Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin and Memphis Comedy Festival. In 2018, Wes was awarded “Best Comedian in Dallas” by the Dallas Observer and won the Improv’s “Funniest Comedian in Texas” contest. In 2020, works he animated appeared on an episode of Conan on TBS. In 2021, a pilot script he co-wrote won the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival’s Stand-Up & Pitch contest. When he’s off stage, Wes sits in front of his computer, struggling to effectively end his comedy bio.

Morgan Gallo (Denver, CO): A Denver-based comedian and producer, Morgan recently appeared on LMAOF on OFTV, and is currently touring across the country. As a creative partner with DUDE, IDK Studios, Morgan produces several comedy podcasts, live shows, and other creative projects when she's not on the road. She's amassed over 600K followers across social platforms and is known for her outright silly perspective on body image, confidence, and women's issues.

Josh di Donato (Atlanta, GA): Josh di Donato is one of the unsung pioneers of the LA Alternative comedy movement. In the 1990s, he produced a series of comedy shows that he brought to Largo, which became an iconic LA comedy destination. Josh opened for Sarah Silverman, Mitch Hedberg, Zach Galifianakis, Dave Chappelle, Maria Bamford, Janeane Garofalo, Marc Maron, Margaret Cho, Jackie Kashian, and many others. He now splits time between Atlanta and Chicago.  Lately, Josh has been making the festival rounds, appearing just in the last few years in the Plano Comedy Festival, Burbank Comedy Festival, Blue Whale CF in Tulsa, Savage Henry CF, Mutiny Radio CF in SF, Funlap CF in Dunlap, Iowa, Four Corners CF in Durango, CO, San Luis Obispo CF, New South CF in Greenville, SC. After doing standup for 29 years, Josh is pretty sure this will be his year.

Jerry Irby (Sioux Falls, SD): Jerry Irby is a local favorite of the Sioux Falls comedy scene. He has been performing stand up comedy for 4 years and loves every day of it.  Jerry draws inspiration from his observations of the world around him. His hobbies include hiking, playing with his dogs, endless internet scrolling, and obviously comedy

Jenni Lou Russi (Fargo, ND): Born in Ohio, and brewed in Alaska, Jenni Lou Russi began her career at Pierce Street Annex in Alaska and honed her comedy chops in showcases at the Cleveland Improv. She has shared the stage with Chad Daniels and Ryan Niemiller. Her comedy is clean enough that Jenni Lou has opened shows for Leanne Morgan, and bawdy enough to appear on stage with members of The Unbookables in a Dirty Birdie show at the famous Chilkoot Charlie’s. Festival credits include Alaska B4UDIE, Cleveland Comedy Festival, Fargo Comedy Festival, and SnoJam.

About the Fest:

Sno Jam Comedy Festival is a 501c3 nonprofit that celebrates comedy and…snow! That's right there is no other comedy festival like it. Thirty comedians from around the country travel to Sioux Falls, SD to perform in various venues across the city showcasing their wits and endurance to the cold. Over four days, comedians will be showcasing their talents through stand-up comedy and themed showcases, all the while supporting a good cause. Net proceeds benefit local non-profits.
